MCH-100-C portable battery powered heat gun kit, made in the USA by Malcom Company, eliminates the need for extension cords, power generators or open flames and is ideal for field use for heat sensor testing, shrink & solder sleeves, wire harness repairs, de-icing, label removal and welding plastics.
Malcom offers a variety of specialized stainless air nozzles so the hot air can be focused for many types of applications. The MCH-100-C comes with heat gun, battery and LED gas guage as well as a universal charger for 90-230v AC.
Powered by a 48V rechargeable lead acid glass matt battery with shoulder strap, the 325 watt heat gun can reach temperatures up to 1000 degrees F, depending on the nozzle and heating element configuration. Temperatures can be adjusted by changing the heating element wattage. The MCH-100-C Heat gun will last for 40 minutes on a full charge. Recharge time is 2-6 hours depending on the discharge level. Charge cycle life per battery is about 500 times depending on use. The battery is housed in a rugged plastic case. Heat gun is attached to the battery with a 8 foot power cord. Battery can be refurbished at the end of its life. Battery has LED's so that the user can see the charge level.
